Citicon P Tablet

Citicon P Tablet contains Piracetam (800mg) + Citicoline (500mg). Prescription required.

Citicon Pr 800 Tablet is used in the treatment of stroke.

Citicon Pr 800 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Citicoline and Piracetam. Citicoline is a nerve protecting medicine. It works on the brain by nourishing the nerve cells, protects them from damage and improves their survival. Piracetam is a GABA (gamma amino butyric acid) analogue. It works by protecting the brain and nervous system against shortness of oxygen and also affects various ion channels on nerve cell membrane.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Citicon Pr 800 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Drowsiness, Dizziness, Nausea, Dry mouth, Headache

Do not stop this medicine suddenly without asking your doctor. This medicine causes drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how it affects you. Report any change in mood, sleep or behaviour.

Alcohol and other sedating medicines add to the drowsiness.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
