Used for topical treatment of acne (pimples) and acne-related inflammation and bacterial infection.

Acne gels typically work by reducing acne-causing bacteria on the skin and decreasing inflammation in the hair follicles. Some formulations also help unclog pores and reduce comedones, thereby preventing new pimples.

For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer to the acne-affected skin as advised by a doctor (often once daily or as directed). Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, inside the nose, and broken/irritated skin; wash hands after application.

For external use only. Do not apply on cuts, wounds, sunburned or eczematous skin unless advised. If severe irritation, swelling, blistering, or allergic reaction occurs, stop use and seek medical advice. Use sunscreen and limit excessive sun exposure if the product increases sensitivity. Not for use in children unless prescribed. Inform your doctor if you have a history of colitis or antibiotic-associated diarrhea when using topical antibiotic-containing acne gels.

May increase irritation with other topical acne/peeling agents (retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, sulfur/resorcinol, astringents, alcohol-based cosmetics). If it contains topical antibiotics, avoid concurrent use with other topical antibiotics unless advised.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), away from heat and direct light. Keep the tube tightly closed and protect from moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
