Acne (pimples), acne-associated bacterial infection and inflammation on the skin

Topical anti-acne gels typically combine an antibacterial agent that reduces acne-causing bacteria with ingredients that decrease inflammation and help clear blocked pores. This reduces redness, swelling and formation of new pimples.

For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer to affected skin as advised by the doctor, usually once daily (often at night) or as directed. Avoid eyes, lips, inside nose and broken/irritated skin; wash hands after use.

For external use only. Do not apply on cuts, wounds, sunburned or eczema-affected skin unless advised. Avoid contact with eyes/mouth; rinse with water if contact occurs. Use sunscreen and limit sun/UV exposure if irritation occurs. Stop use and consult a doctor if severe irritation, swelling or allergic reaction develops. Use with caution in pregnancy/breastfeeding and in children unless prescribed.

Other topical acne medicines (retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid), topical steroids, abrasive soaps/cleansers, alcohol-based cosmetics (may increase irritation); neuromuscular-blocking agents if the product contains topical clindamycin (rare systemic interaction)

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct light and heat. Keep the tube tightly closed. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
