Bowel cleansing before colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, or colorectal surgery to ensure the colon is clear for examination/procedure.

Bowel preparation solutions act as osmotic laxatives that retain water in the intestine and increase stool volume. This stimulates bowel movements and flushes out fecal matter to cleanse the colon before a procedure.

Use only as prescribed for bowel prep. Typically taken as an oral solution in split doses (evening before and/or morning of procedure) with plenty of clear liquids as instructed; do not take solid food as per the prep protocol. Follow the kit leaflet and your doctor’s timing exactly.

Nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, bloating, diarrhea, thirst, headache, dizziness

Risk of dehydration and electrolyte imbalance; drink adequate clear fluids as advised. Use with caution in elderly, kidney disease, heart failure, severe constipation, bowel obstruction/perforation, inflammatory bowel disease flare, or swallowing/aspiration risk. Stop and seek medical help if severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, fainting, no bowel movement after starting, or signs of dehydration occur. Do not use in suspected intestinal obstruction unless specifically directed by a doctor.

May reduce absorption of oral medicines taken close to dosing; separate other oral drugs by at least 1–2 hours (or as advised). Caution with diuretics, ACE inhibitors/ARBs, NSAIDs, lithium, digoxin, and other drugs affected by electrolyte changes.

Store at room temperature below 25°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep container tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
