Treatment of certain parasitic worm infestations (e.g., strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis) and other susceptible parasitic infections as prescribed by a doctor.
Ivermectin is an antiparasitic medicine. It binds to parasite nerve and muscle cell chloride channels, causing paralysis and death of the parasite, helping clear the infection.
Tablet for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed; commonly taken as a single dose or short course based on body weight and type of infection. Often advised on an empty stomach with water unless your doctor instructs otherwise.

Prescription-only antiparasitic; use only for confirmed/suspected parasitic infection under medical supervision. Use with caution in liver disease, in people with heavy parasite load (may cause stronger inflammatory reactions), and in patients with conditions affecting immunity. Seek medical help for severe rash, breathing difficulty, swelling, or vision/neurological symptoms. Not recommended for self-medication or for unapproved uses.
Warfarin/other anticoagulants (may alter INR/bleeding risk), other CNS depressants/alcohol (may increase dizziness), strong CYP3A4/P-gp inhibitors such as clarithromycin/erythromycin, ketoconazole, ritonavir/cobicistat (may increase ivermectin levels)
