Crixan 1% Gel 15GM

Crixan 1% Gel 15GM contains Clarithromycin (1% w/w) and is used for this medicine is used. Prescription required.

This medicine is used in the treatment of bacterial infection, chest infection, throat infection and skin infection.

Clarithromycin stops the bacteria causing your infection from making the proteins they need to multiply.

Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer and rub it in gently. Wash your hands before and after use, unless your hands are the area being treated. This is for use on the skin only — do not swallow it. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

Nausea, Stomach pain, Loose motions, Vomiting, Altered taste

Finish the whole course even after you feel better. Tell your doctor if you have a heart rhythm problem or take a medicine for one — this group can affect the heart's electrical timing. Report severe or watery loose motions during or after the course rather than treating them yourself.

Interacts with a long list of medicines, including statins, some heart medicines and blood thinners — tell your doctor everything you take. Antacids reduce absorption; separate them by a couple of hours.

Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Close the cap tightly after each use. Keep out of the reach of children.
