Denatured Alcohol (Ethanol) 69.4% w/w (approx; as per typical Dettol Instant Hand Sanitizer formulation)

Hand hygiene; helps reduce germs on hands when soap and water are not available

The high alcohol content rapidly denatures proteins and disrupts lipid membranes of many bacteria and enveloped viruses, leading to germ kill. It acts quickly on contact and evaporates without needing water.

For external use only. Apply a coin-sized amount to palm and rub thoroughly over all hand surfaces (palms, back of hands, between fingers, fingertips/thumbs) until dry. Do not rinse. Use whenever needed, especially after touching frequently used surfaces or before eating.

Dryness of skin, mild burning/stinging, skin irritation, redness, allergic rash

Flammable—keep away from heat/sparks/open flames. Avoid contact with eyes; if it occurs, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice if irritation persists. Do not ingest; if swallowed, seek immediate medical help. Keep out of reach of children; supervise use in children. Do not apply on broken/irritated skin. Stop use if severe irritation or allergy occurs.

No significant drug interactions expected with topical hand sanitizer use; avoid simultaneous use with other irritating topical products on hands if irritation occurs

Store tightly closed at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat/ignition. Keep container sealed to prevent evaporation.
