Abdominal pain and cramps due to spasms, menstrual cramps, biliary/renal colic, gastrointestinal spasm
Drotaverine is an antispasmodic that relaxes smooth muscles in the gut and urinary tract. By reducing smooth muscle contraction, it relieves cramping pain caused by spasms.
Take by mouth as prescribed, usually after meals. Swallow with water. Dose and duration depend on the condition and response.
