Treatment of allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny/blocked nose, itchy/watery eyes) and urticaria (hives/skin itching).

Ebastine is a second-generation antihistamine that blocks peripheral H1 receptors. It reduces the effects of histamine released during allergic reactions, relieving sneezing, itching, and hives with minimal sedation in most people.

Tablet for oral use. Take as prescribed by the doctor, usually once daily; may be taken with or without food. Swallow whole with water at the same time each day.

Headache, dry mouth, drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, nausea, abdominal discomfort

Use with caution in liver impairment; dose adjustment may be needed. May cause drowsiness in some individuals—avoid driving or operating machinery if affected. Caution in patients with known QT prolongation, electrolyte disturbances, or significant heart disease. Do not exceed prescribed dose.

QT-prolonging medicines (e.g., amiodarone, sotalol), macrolide antibiotics (e.g., erythromycin, clarithromycin), azole antifungals (e.g., ketoconazole, itraconazole), other sedating CNS depressants, grapefruit juice may increase levels
