Edastar Injection is an antioxidant. It has nootropic (enrichment of nerves) and neuroprotective properties. It works by slowing the nerve damage caused by harmful chemicals (free radicals). This delays the progression of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) symptoms by reducing oxidative stress (an imbalance between free radicals and antioxidants) in the brain. It also protects brain cells during ischemic stroke by reducing harmful molecules (free radicals) that cause damage.

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Do not stop this medicine suddenly without asking your doctor. This medicine causes drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how it affects you. Report any change in mood, sleep or behaviour.

Alcohol and other sedating medicines add to the drowsiness.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
