Dry eye syndrome (keratoconjunctivitis sicca), burning/irritation due to dryness, relief from discomfort due to reduced tear production, temporary relief of eye dryness from wind/sun/screen use
Carboxymethylcellulose is a lubricant (artificial tear) that forms a protective, hydrating film on the eye surface. It reduces tear evaporation and friction, providing soothing relief from dryness and irritation.
For ophthalmic use only. Instill 1 drop in the affected eye(s) 3–4 times daily or as advised. May be used with or without food. Remove contact lenses before use and reinsert after 15 minutes unless advised otherwise; avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface.
Temporary blurred vision, mild eye burning/stinging, eye irritation, watery eyes, redness, foreign body sensation
Do not use if solution changes color or becomes cloudy. Stop use and consult a doctor if eye pain, vision changes, persistent redness/irritation, or signs of infection occur. Use caution when driving immediately after instillation due to temporary blurred vision. Maintain hygiene to prevent contamination; do not share. If using other eye medicines, keep a 10–15 minute gap.
No significant systemic interactions expected. Using multiple ophthalmic products together may dilute effect—separate by 10–15 minutes; use eye ointments last.
Store below 25°C, protect from light and moisture. Keep bottle tightly closed. Do not freeze. Discard within 4 weeks of opening or as per pack instructions.
