Thiamidol (Isobutylamido Thiazolyl Resorcinol) (strength not specified)
Helps reduce hyperpigmentation and dark spots (e.g., sun spots, post-acne marks) and improves overall skin radiance and even tone
Thiamidol is a tyrosinase inhibitor that reduces excess melanin production at the source. With regular use, it helps fade existing dark spots and prevents re-appearance, improving skin clarity and glow.
For external use only. Apply a small amount to cleansed face (and neck) once daily or as directed on the label. Avoid eye area. Use sunscreen daily while using anti-pigment products.
Mild burning or stinging, redness, dryness, irritation, peeling, itching
Patch test before first use. Discontinue and consult a dermatologist if severe irritation, swelling, or rash occurs. Avoid use on broken/eczema-inflamed skin and avoid contact with eyes/mucosa. Limit layering with other strong actives (retinoids, AHA/BHA, benzoyl peroxide) if irritation occurs. Use broad-spectrum sunscreen; hyperpigmentation can worsen with sun exposure.
Topical irritant interactions possible with retinoids, alpha/beta hydroxy acids (AHA/BHA), benzoyl peroxide, alcohol-based astringents, other depigmenting agents—may increase dryness/irritation
Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep cap tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
Bioderma Pigmentbio C-Concentrate, Sesderma Azelac RU Liposomal Serum, The Derma Co 2% Alpha Arbutin Serum, Minimalist 2% Alpha Arbutin Serum, La Roche-Posay MelaB3 Serum
