Famogreat 40 Tablet

Famogreat 40 Tablet contains Famotidine (40mg) and is used for gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux).

Famogreat 40mg Tablet is a histamine H2 receptor antagonist. It works by reducing the acid produced in the stomach. This helps to relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Famogreat 40mg Tablet should be taken with or after food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

This is for short-term relief. See a doctor if you need it most days for more than a couple of weeks. Seek urgent care for chest pain that spreads to the arm or jaw, comes with sweating or breathlessness — do not assume it is acidity. Antacids interfere with the absorption of many other medicines. Take them at least two hours apart from anything else.

Reduces the absorption of thyroid tablets, iron, and several antibiotics — separate them by at least two hours.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
