Relief of acidity, heartburn, indigestion, sour stomach and gas-related discomfort.

This syrup is intended to reduce excess stomach acid and relieve associated burning and discomfort. Depending on the ingredients, it may neutralize acid, reduce acid production, and/or help relieve gas.

Shake well before use. Take the measured dose by mouth as directed by a doctor/label, usually after meals and/or at bedtime. Can generally be taken with or without food; follow specific product instructions if available.

Nausea, constipation, diarrhea, stomach upset, bloating, belching, chalky taste

Do not use for prolonged periods without medical advice. Seek medical help if symptoms persist/worsen, or if you have alarm symptoms (vomiting blood, black stools, unexplained weight loss, severe abdominal pain, difficulty swallowing). Use with caution in kidney disease, heart failure, on a low-sodium diet, or if you have electrolyte imbalance (if the product contains magnesium/aluminium/sodium salts). Diabetics should check sugar content if applicable. Not for self-medication in children unless advised by a doctor.

May reduce absorption of tetracyclines/quinolones, iron, levothyroxine, ketoconazole/itraconazole and some other medicines if taken together; keep a 2–4 hour gap. If it contains an acid-suppressing agent (e.g., H2 blocker/PPI), it may interact with drugs whose absorption depends on stomach acidity.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), in a cool dry place, protected from light. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children. Do not freeze.
