Gaviscon Double Action Tab

Gaviscon Double Action Tab contains Sodium Alginate (250mg/5ml) + Sodium Bicarbonate (106.5mg/5ml) + Calcium Carbonate (162.5mg/5ml) and is used for this medicine is used.

This medicine is used in the treatment of acidity, heartburn, indigestion, gas and bloating, vitamin d deficiency, low calcium, osteoporosis and bone health.

This medicine combines 3 active ingredients: Sodium Alginate, Sodium Bicarbonate and Calcium Carbonate. Sodium Alginate neutralises or reduces stomach acid, giving quick relief from burning and indigestion. Sodium Bicarbonate neutralises or reduces stomach acid, giving quick relief from burning and indigestion. Calcium Carbonate helps your gut absorb calcium and keeps the mineral level in your blood and bones where it should be.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush or break it unless your doctor has told you to. Take it after meals and at bedtime. Taking it at about the same time each day helps you remember. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

This is for short-term relief. See a doctor if you need it most days for more than a couple of weeks.
