Suspension

Relief of constipation; helps soften stools and promote bowel movement.

IGLAX suspension is a laxative product intended to ease constipation. Depending on its ingredients, it may soften stool (stool softener), increase water in the bowel (osmotic laxative), and/or stimulate intestinal movement to help pass stools.

Shake well before use. Measure the dose with a measuring cup/spoon and take as directed by a doctor/pharmacist, preferably at bedtime or as advised. Drink plenty of water and include fiber in diet; do not use for prolonged periods without medical advice.

Abdominal cramps, bloating, gas, nausea, diarrhea, stomach discomfort

Do not use if you have intestinal obstruction, severe abdominal pain, nausea/vomiting, or unexplained abdominal symptoms unless advised by a doctor. Overuse may cause diarrhea, dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. Consult a doctor for children, pregnancy/breastfeeding, elderly, or if constipation persists beyond 7 days or there is blood in stools.

May reduce absorption of other oral medicines if taken at the same time; keep a 2-hour gap from other medicines. If it contains stimulant laxatives or magnesium salts, interactions may occur with diuretics, corticosteroids, digoxin and other drugs affecting electrolytes.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), protected from light and moisture. Keep the bottle tightly closed. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
