Ivecop-AB-12 Tablet

Ivecop-Ab-12 Tablet contains Ivermectin (12mg) + Albendazole (100mg) and is used for worm infections. Prescription required.

Treatment of Worm infections

Ivecop AB Tablet is a combination of two antiparasitic medicines: Ivermectin and Albendazole. Ivermectin works by binding to muscle and nerve cells of worms causing their paralysis and death. Albendazole works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), so that they lose energy and die. This treats your infection effectively.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ivecop AB Tablet is to be taken on an empty stomach.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Treat the whole household at the same time for worm infestations, or reinfection is likely. Wash hands thoroughly after using the toilet and before eating, keep nails short, and wash bedding and underclothes in hot water. Do not drink alcohol with metronidazole, ornidazole, tinidazole or secnidazole. A repeat dose after a couple of weeks is often advised for worms — follow your doctor's instruction.

Tell your doctor if you take anti-epileptic medicines or a blood thinner.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
