Apply a small amount to wet face, gently massage 20–30 seconds focusing on oily areas, then rinse thoroughly; use once daily initially, increase to twice daily if tolerated; follow with non-comedogenic moisturiser.
Common: dryness, mild stinging, tightness, peeling; Serious: severe redness, swelling, blistering or allergic contact dermatitis.
Patch test on jawline/behind ear for 24 hours; avoid eye area; use sunscreen if cleanser increases dryness/irritation; discontinue if persistent burning or rash develops.
Topical acne actives (tretinoin/adapalene, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid): additive dryness/irritation; space out use if irritation occurs.
