Treatment of Respiratory tract infection
Kefmax CV 50mg/31.25mg Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Cefpodoxime Proxetil and Clavulanic Acid. Cefpodoxime Proxetil is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefpodoxime Proxetil against bacteria.
Kefmax CV 50mg/31.25mg Syrup does not pose serious side effects and is well-tolerated by children. In case the side effects do occur, they’re likely to subside once the body adapts to the medicine. Consult your child’s doctor if these side effects persist or bother your child. The most common side effects include-
