Treatment of androgenetic alopecia (pattern hair loss) in adults; helps reduce hair fall and promotes hair regrowth on the scalp

Minoxidil is a topical vasodilator that prolongs the anagen (growth) phase of hair follicles and increases follicle size. It improves follicular activity, leading to reduced shedding and gradual regrowth in responsive individuals.

For external use only. Apply 1 mL to clean, dry scalp over affected areas twice daily (or as directed by doctor); spread gently and allow to dry. Do not wash scalp for at least 4 hours after application; wash hands after use; avoid applying on broken/irritated skin and avoid contact with eyes/face.

Scalp itching, dryness, flaking/dandruff, redness/irritation, burning sensation, headache, unwanted facial/body hair growth (hypertrichosis)

External use only. Stop and seek medical advice if chest pain, fast/irregular heartbeat, dizziness, fainting, sudden weight gain, swelling of hands/feet, or severe scalp irritation occurs. Not recommended in children; use with caution in people with cardiovascular disease. Avoid use on infected, inflamed, painful, or sunburned scalp. Hair shedding may increase initially in first few weeks. Continuous use is needed to maintain effect; regrowth may take 3–6 months.

May increase risk of low blood pressure when used with antihypertensives/vasodilators; avoid concomitant topical irritants/keratolytics (e.g., tretinoin, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid) on same area as they may increase absorption/irritation; caution with topical corticosteroids if advised by clinician.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from heat/flame; keep container tightly closed and protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
