This medicine is used in the treatment of digestive problems, loose motions, restoring gut bacteria and stomach protection.

Novogermina Suspension is a probiotic. It works by restoring the balance of good bacteria in the intestine that may get upset after antibiotic use or due to intestinal infections.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Novogermina Suspension may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Oral rehydration salts and fluids matter more than any medicine when you have loose motions — dehydration is the real danger, especially in children and older people. Do not use an anti-motility medicine such as loperamide if you have a fever or blood in the stool.

Antibiotics reduce the effect of probiotics taken at the same time.
