Olpin 5 contains Olanzapine (5mg) and is used for olpin 5 Tablet is used. Prescription required.

Olpin 5 Tablet is used in the treatment of schizophrenia and mania.

Olpin 5 Tablet is an atypical antipsychotic. It works by affecting the levels of chemical messengers (dopamine and serotonin) to improve mood, thoughts and behavior.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Olpin 5 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Drowsiness, Weight gain, Tremor, Stiffness, Restlessness, Dry mouth, Dizziness on standing up

Report any tremor, stiffness, restlessness or uncontrollable movements of the face, tongue or limbs to your doctor promptly — these can become persistent if not addressed. Seek emergency care for high fever with severe muscle stiffness, confusion and sweating. This is rare but life-threatening. These medicines can raise blood sugar, cholesterol and weight. Your doctor will monitor them — keep those appointments. Never stop suddenly; your doctor will reduce the dose gradually. Take care in hot weather — this group affects how your body regulates temperature.

Alcohol and sedatives add to the drowsiness. Tell your doctor about any medicine that affects heart rhythm.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
