Omez-IT+ Capsule SR is a combination of two medicines: Esomeprazole and Itopride. Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Itopride is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Omez-IT+ Capsule SR is to be taken on an empty stomach.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Use with caution in patients with liver disease, not recommended for long-term use without medical supervision.

May interact with warfarin, clopidogrel, and other medications metabolized by the liver.
