Relief of acidity, heartburn, acid reflux (GERD symptoms), sour stomach and indigestion due to excess gastric acid

Calcium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate are antacids that neutralize excess stomach acid. This reduces irritation of the food pipe and stomach, providing fast relief from heartburn and acidity.

Chew the tablet completely (do not swallow whole) and then swallow. Take as needed for heartburn/acid indigestion or as directed by a doctor; commonly taken after meals and/or at bedtime. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose on the label.

Constipation, belching, gas, nausea, stomach upset, chalky taste, diarrhea (rare)

Use with caution in kidney disease, history of kidney stones, high blood calcium, or on a sodium-restricted diet. Prolonged or excessive use may cause electrolyte imbalance, milk-alkali syndrome (hypercalcemia) or metabolic alkalosis. If symptoms persist beyond 14 days, or you have severe abdominal pain, vomiting, black stools or weight loss, seek medical advice.

May reduce absorption of tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, iron salts, levothyroxine, bisphosphonates—separate by 2-4 hours. Increased risk of hypercalcemia with thiazide diuretics; reduced effect of some antifungals (e.g., ketoconazole/itraconazole) due to raised gastric pH.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from moisture and heat. Keep in original pack and out of reach of children.
