Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), heartburn and acid reflux, gastritis/acid-peptic disease, indigestion (dyspepsia) with nausea/vomiting due to reflux

Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that blocks the gastric H+/K+ ATPase, reducing stomach acid production. Domperidone is a peripheral dopamine (D2) receptor antagonist that increases gastric motility and reduces nausea by enhancing gastric emptying.

Take as directed by the doctor. Usually taken once daily, preferably 30 minutes before breakfast; swallow capsule whole (do not crush/open), with water. If prescribed twice daily, take before meals.

Headache, diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, dry mouth, dizziness, flatulence, constipation

Use with caution in liver disease. Long-term PPI use may increase risk of low magnesium/vitamin B12 deficiency, bone fractures, and intestinal infections; use the lowest effective dose. Domperidone may prolong QT interval and rarely cause serious heart rhythm problems—avoid in known QT prolongation, significant heart disease, or with electrolyte disturbances. Seek care for black stools, vomiting blood, persistent vomiting, unexplained weight loss, or difficulty swallowing.

QT-prolonging drugs (e.g., amiodarone, sotalol, certain antipsychotics), strong CYP3A4 inhibitors with domperidone (e.g., ketoconazole, itraconazole, erythromycin, clarithromycin, ritonavir), anticoagulants (warfarin—monitor), drugs requiring acidic pH for absorption (ketoconazole/itraconazole/atazanavir), methotrexate (high dose), digoxin (monitor), antacids/sucralfate (separate timing if advised)

Store below 25°C, protect from moisture and light, keep in original blister pack, keep out of reach of children.
