Pimavantrel 34mg Capsule works by modulating serotonin activity in the brain, specifically at 5-HT₂A receptors, which play a key role in hallucinations and delusions. It does not interfere with dopamine, the chemical essential for movement control. This allows Pimavantrel 34mg Capsule to effectively reduce hallucinations and delusions in people with Parkinson’s disease psychosis without worsening their motor symptoms.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Pimavantrel 34mg Capsule may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Report any tremor, stiffness, restlessness or uncontrollable movements of the face, tongue or limbs to your doctor promptly — these can become persistent if not addressed. Seek emergency care for high fever with severe muscle stiffness, confusion and sweating. This is rare but life-threatening. These medicines can raise blood sugar, cholesterol and weight. Your doctor will monitor them — keep those appointments. Never stop suddenly; your doctor will reduce the dose gradually. Take care in hot weather — this group affects how your body regulates temperature.

Alcohol and sedatives add to the drowsiness. Tell your doctor about any medicine that affects heart rhythm.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
