Pirfenex Tablet

Pirfenex Tablet contains Pirfenidone (801mg) and is used for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Prescription required.

Treatment of Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis

Pirfenex 801mg Tablet is an antifibrotic medication. It works by blocking the action of a certain natural substance in the body that is involved in causing fibrosis. This reduces the scarring and swelling in the lungs and makes breathing easier.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pirfenex 801mg Tablet should be taken with or after food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Seek emergency care for sudden severe breathlessness or an inability to speak a full sentence. Use this exactly as prescribed and keep your review appointments.

Tell your doctor about every other respiratory medicine you use.
