Quickrel 10/250 Tablet

Quickrel 10/250 Tablet contains Naproxen (250mg) + Domperidone (10mg) and is used for preventing migraine. Prescription required.

Prevention of Migraine

Quickrel 250mg/10mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: naproxen and domperidone. Naproxen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause migraine pain. Domperidone works on the part of the brain that controls nausea and vomiting associated with migraine. Together, these medicines help relieve migraine symptoms.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Quickrel 250mg/10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Take it with or just after food, and for the shortest time that works. Stop and seek urgent care for black or tarry stools, vomiting blood, or severe stomach pain — this group can cause bleeding from the stomach. Long or high-dose use raises the risk of heart attack, stroke and kidney injury, particularly in older people and those already at risk. Avoid if you are dehydrated or have an illness with vomiting or loose motions — the kidneys are vulnerable then. Must be avoided in the last three months of pregnancy. Use it for the shortest period that works. These medicines are not intended for long-term daily use. Report any unusual muscle stiffness, tremor, restlessness or uncontrolled movements of the face or limbs at once — stop and contact your doctor. Tell your doctor if you have a heart rhythm problem; some of this group affect the heart's electrical timing. Persistent vomiting needs a diagnosis. Do not keep suppressing it without seeing a doctor, especially with abdominal pain, fever or blood.

Combining with a blood thinner or aspirin sharply raises the bleeding risk. Reduces the effect of blood pressure medicines and water tablets, and together with them can harm the kidneys. Never take two anti-inflammatory painkillers at the same time. Antifungals, some antibiotics and heart-rhythm medicines increase the risk of rhythm problems when combined. Adds to the drowsiness of alcohol and sedatives.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
