R-Loc 150 mg Tablet

R-Loc 150 mg Tablet contains Ranitidine (150mg) and is used for management of Peptic ulcer disease.

R-Loc 150 Tablet works by blocking histamine H2 receptors on the acid-producing cells of the stomach. This reduces both basal and stimulated secretion of gastric acid, lowering the volume and acidity of stomach contents. By decreasing acid production, ranitidine helps relieve acid-related symptoms and allows irritated or ulcerated areas of the stomach and esophagus to heal.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. R-Loc 150 Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

This is for short-term relief. See a doctor if you need it most days for more than a couple of weeks. Seek urgent care for chest pain that spreads to the arm or jaw, comes with sweating or breathlessness — do not assume it is acidity. Antacids interfere with the absorption of many other medicines. Take them at least two hours apart from anything else.

Reduces the absorption of thyroid tablets, iron, and several antibiotics — separate them by at least two hours.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
