SA 20 Ointment works as a keratolytic agent (a substance that promotes the shedding of the skin's outermost layer) that helps loosen and remove the outer, thickened layer of the skin. It breaks down the material that holds dead skin cells together, allowing scales to shed more easily. This softens rough, thickened skin and helps restore a healthier skin surface in hyperkeratotic skin disorders.

For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected area as advised by a doctor/pharmacist; avoid contact with eyes, mouth and broken skin unless directed. Wash hands after application.

Application site burning, irritation, redness, itching, dryness, rash

For external use only. Do not apply to eyes, mouth, mucous membranes or large/broken areas of skin unless advised. Stop use and seek medical advice if severe irritation, rash, swelling or worsening occurs. Use in children, pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.

If using other topical medicines on the same area, keep a gap between applications; systemic interactions are unlikely but depend on ingredients (unknown).

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from heat and direct light. Keep cap tightly closed and keep out of reach of children.
