Safkit Tablet contains Fluconazole (150mg) + Azithromycin (1000mg) + Secnidazole (1000mg) and is used for syndromic. Prescription required.

Syndromic treatment of vaginal discharge

Safkit 150 mg/1000 mg/1000 mg Tablet is a combination of fluconazole, azithromycin, and secnidazole. It works by targeting different types of microorganisms responsible for vaginal infections. Fluconazole acts against fungal pathogens by disrupting their cell membrane, Azithromycin inhibits bacterial growth by interfering with protein synthesis, and Secnidazole is active against anaerobic bacteria and protozoa by damaging their DNA. Together, they help control mixed infections associated with vaginal discharge and support effective resolution of symptoms.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Safkit 150 mg/1000 mg/1000 mg Tablet should be taken with or after food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Fungal skin and nail infections need long courses — weeks for skin, months for nails. Stopping when it looks better is the commonest reason it returns. Your doctor may check your liver with a blood test during a long course. Report yellowing of the eyes or skin, dark urine or persistent nausea at once. Tell your doctor if you have heart failure before taking itraconazole. This group interacts with a great many medicines — give your doctor a complete list. Finish the whole course even after you feel better. Tell your doctor if you have a heart rhythm problem or take a medicine for one — this group can affect the heart's electrical timing. Report severe or watery loose motions during or after the course rather than treating them yourself. Do not drink any alcohol while taking metronidazole, ornidazole or tinidazole, or for the period after the course that your doctor states — the combination causes severe flushing, vomiting and a racing heart. Tetracyclines stain developing teeth and are avoided in young children and in pregnancy. Antibiotics do not work against colds, flu or most sore throats, which are caused by viruses.

Interacts strongly with statins, some heart medicines, blood thinners and sedatives — some combinations must be avoided altogether. Acid-reducing medicines lower the absorption of itraconazole. Antacids reduce absorption; separate them by a couple of hours. Antacids, iron, zinc and calcium reduce the absorption of tetracyclines — separate them by a couple of hours. Tell your doctor if you take a blood thinner.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
