Ointment

Used for hyperkeratotic and scaly skin conditions such as dry/scaly eczema, psoriasis, chronic dermatitis, corns and calluses (as a keratolytic emollient).

It acts as a keratolytic by softening and loosening the outer thickened layer of skin, helping it shed. This reduces scaling and improves penetration of moisturisers/other topical medicines.

For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected area 1–2 times daily or as directed by a doctor. Avoid eyes, mouth, genitals, and broken/irritated skin unless advised; wash hands after application.

Mild burning, stinging, itching, redness, skin irritation, dryness, peeling

Do not use if allergic to salicylates. Avoid large-area use, occlusive dressings, or prolonged use without medical advice (risk of salicylate absorption, especially in children). Do not apply on infected, open, or severely inflamed skin unless prescribed. Stop use and seek medical help if severe irritation, rash, or signs of allergy occur.

Other topical irritants/peeling agents (retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, sulfur/resorcinol), increased absorption/irritation with topical corticosteroids or other actives when used together on same area; systemic salicylate toxicity risk with extensive use.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), tightly closed. Protect from heat, moisture and direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
