Salicylic Acid 2% w/v

Acne (pimples), blackheads and whiteheads (comedonal acne), oily skin; helps in mild exfoliation and unclogging pores.

Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) with keratolytic and comedolytic action. It loosens and removes dead skin cells, reduces plugging of pores, and helps decrease inflammation associated with acne lesions.

For external use only. Wet face/affected area, apply a small amount of face wash, gently massage for 20–30 seconds, then rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Use once daily to start; may increase to twice daily if tolerated or as advised by a doctor. Avoid contact with eyes, lips, and broken/irritated skin.

Dryness, peeling, mild burning/stinging, redness, itching, skin irritation

Do not use on broken, sunburnt, or eczematous skin. Stop use and consult a doctor if severe irritation, swelling, blistering, or allergy occurs. Avoid excessive sun exposure; use sunscreen as salicylic acid may increase photosensitivity. Not recommended for children unless advised by a doctor. If using other acne treatments, introduce gradually to reduce irritation.

Other topical acne/peeling agents (retinoids such as tretinoin/adapalene, benzoyl peroxide, azelaic acid), alcohol-based astringents/scrubs, other salicylate-containing products (risk of irritation/additive peeling)

Store at room temperature (below 25–30°C), away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep cap tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
