Fluocinolone acetonide (0.01% w/v)
Helps manage dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis of the scalp (flaking, itching, redness) and controls associated scalp fungal overgrowth.
Anti-dandruff shampoos typically reduce the growth of Malassezia yeast and decrease scalp inflammation and scaling. Regular use helps loosen and remove flakes and relieves itching.
For external use only. Wet hair and scalp, apply sufficient shampoo, massage into scalp and leave for 3–5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Use 2–3 times a week or as directed by a doctor; avoid contact with eyes.
Mild burning or stinging, itching, dryness, irritation, redness, oily/greasy hair, hair texture changes
Stop use and consult a doctor if severe irritation, rash, swelling, or worsening occurs. Avoid use on broken/abraded skin and avoid eye contact; rinse with plenty of water if it gets into eyes. Use with caution in very sensitive scalp or if allergic to anti-dandruff ingredients; perform a patch test if prone to allergies. Keep out of reach of children.
No clinically significant drug interactions expected with topical shampoo use; avoid using multiple medicated scalp products together unless advised (may increase irritation).
Store at room temperature (below 25°C), tightly closed, protected from heat and direct sunlight. Do not freeze.
