Helps maintain oral hygiene; used as an adjunct for bad breath (halitosis), plaque control, mild gum irritation/gingivitis, and post-dental procedure oral care (as advised by a dentist).

Mouthwashes generally work by reducing oral bacterial load and neutralizing odour-causing compounds. This helps decrease plaque formation and improves breath freshness and gum health when used along with brushing and flossing.

Use as directed on the label or by a dentist. Typically, rinse/gargle with the measured amount for 30–60 seconds and spit out; do not swallow. Avoid eating/drinking immediately after use (about 30 minutes).

Temporary burning/tingling, altered taste, dry mouth, mild mouth irritation

For rinsing only; do not swallow. Keep out of reach of children. If irritation, swelling, rash, or worsening gum pain occurs, stop use and consult a dentist/doctor. Use with caution in young children (risk of swallowing) and in people with mouth ulcers unless advised by a clinician. If symptoms persist beyond a few days or there is fever, severe pain, or bleeding gums, seek dental advice.

No significant systemic drug interactions expected when used as a mouth rinse; avoid using multiple antiseptic mouthwashes together unless advised.
