Seroflo 125 Cfc In 120Md contains Salmeterol 25 mcg + Fluticasone propionate 125 mcg per metered dose (inhalation aerosol, CFC-free) and is used for maintenance. Prescription required.

Fluticasone is an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation, swelling and mucus production. Salmeterol is a long-acting beta2-agonist that relaxes bronchial smooth muscle to keep airways open for up to ~12 hours. Together they improve breathing and reduce symptoms/exacerbations when used regularly.

Inhalation use only via metered dose inhaler. Use regularly as prescribed, usually 1–2 puffs twice daily; rinse mouth/gargle with water after each use and spit out. Use with or without food; use a spacer if advised. Not for sudden breathing attacks—keep a reliever inhaler (e.g., salbutamol) for acute symptoms.

Hoarseness/voice changes, throat irritation, cough, oral thrush (candidiasis), headache, tremor, palpitations, nausea

Not for acute bronchospasm or sudden asthma/COPD attacks. Do not stop abruptly; use regularly for best control. Rinse mouth after use to reduce risk of oral thrush. Use with caution in heart disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, seizures, and in patients with tuberculosis or untreated infections. High doses/long-term use may cause adrenal suppression, reduced bone mineral density, cataract/glaucoma, and slowed growth in children; monitor as advised. Seek urgent care if breathing worsens immediately after use (paradoxical bronchospasm) or if severe allergic reactions occur.

Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (ritonavir, cobicistat, ketoconazole, itraconazole, clarithromycin) may increase fluticasone systemic effects; beta-blockers may reduce bronchodilation; other sympathomimetics may increase cardiovascular effects; diuretics/xanthines/corticosteroids may increase risk of hypokalemia; MAOIs/TCAs may enhance sympathomimetic effects.

Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not freeze. Keep canister pressurised—do not puncture or expose to fire. Keep out of reach of children.
