Scalp care solution used to help manage dandruff, flaky scalp and itching (only if prescribed/labelled for these uses).

Scalp solutions for dandruff/itch typically act by reducing fungal load on the scalp and/or decreasing scaling and inflammation, which helps relieve flaking and itching. The exact mechanism depends on the active ingredients in the formulation.

For external use on scalp only. Apply a thin layer/required amount to affected scalp as directed on the label or by a doctor; avoid contact with eyes and broken skin. Wash hands after application; do not occlude unless advised.

Mild burning/stinging, itching, redness, dryness, irritation, scaling, hair dryness

Do not ingest. Avoid eyes, mouth and mucous membranes; rinse well with water if contact occurs. Stop use and consult a doctor if severe irritation, rash, swelling or worsening occurs. Use with caution in children, during pregnancy/breastfeeding, or on damaged/eczema-infected scalp unless advised by a clinician.

If used with other topical scalp medicines (e.g., steroids, antifungals, keratolytics), irritation may increase; spacing applications is usually advised. Exact interactions depend on active ingredients.
