Uses & Benefits
Protection from sunburn and UV-induced skin damage; helps prevent tanning, photodermatoses, and photoaging; suitable for daily photoprotection
How It Works
SPF 50 sunscreen forms a protective film on the skin using UV filters that absorb, reflect, or scatter UVA and UVB rays. This reduces UV penetration and helps prevent sunburn, pigmentation, and long-term photo-damage.
Directions for Use
For external use only. Apply generously and evenly on face/neck and other exposed areas 15–20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply every 2–3 hours and after sweating, swimming, or towel-drying. Can be used daily; follow with moisturizer/makeup as needed.
Side Effects
Mild burning or stinging, redness, itching, dryness, oiliness, acne/comedones, rash, allergic reaction (rare), eye irritation if it gets into eyes
Warnings & Precautions
Patch test if you have sensitive skin. Avoid contact with eyes and broken/irritated skin; rinse with water if contact occurs. Stop use and consult a doctor if severe irritation, swelling, or allergy occurs. Sunscreen does not provide 100% protection—use protective clothing and limit midday sun exposure.
Drug Interactions
No clinically significant drug interactions expected with topical sunscreen; may irritate if layered with strong exfoliants/retinoids in sensitive users
