Spasmonil Tablet

Spasmonil Tablet contains Dicyclomine (20mg) + Paracetamol (325mg) and is used for abdominal pain. Prescription required.

Treatment of Abdominal pain

Spasmonil 20mg/325mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: dicyclomine and paracetamol, which help relieve abdominal pain and cramps. Dicyclomine is an anticholinergic that relaxes the muscles in the stomach and intestines. It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms), thereby relieving cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) that works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers responsible for pain.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Spasmonil 20mg/325mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Use with caution in patients with glaucoma, urinary retention, or myasthenia gravis. Not recommended for children under 12 years.

May interact with other anticholinergic drugs, alcohol, and certain antidepressants.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
