Sporidex 250mg Tablet DT works by stopping bacteria from building their protective cell walls. It binds to specific proteins in the bacteria, blocking the formation of peptidoglycan, a key component of the cell wall. Without this support, the bacterial wall becomes weak and breaks, leading to the death of the bacteria. This makes Sporidex 250mg Tablet DT effective in treating bacterial infections.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Sporidex 250mg Tablet DT may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Finish the whole course even after you feel better — stopping early breeds resistant bacteria. Tell your doctor if you have ever had a severe reaction to penicillin; a small proportion of people react to both groups. Report severe or watery loose motions during or after the course rather than treating them yourself. Several medicines in this group are on Schedule H1 precisely because overuse drives antibiotic resistance. Take it only when a doctor has prescribed it for you.

Antacids, iron and zinc reduce absorption — separate them by a couple of hours. Tell your doctor if you take a blood thinner.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
