Teczine 5 mg Cp Tablet

Teczine 5 mg Cp Tablet contains Levocetirizine (5mg).

Allergic rhinitis (seasonal/perennial) symptoms such as sneezing, runny/blocked nose, itchy/watery eyes; urticaria (hives) and other allergic skin conditions with itching.

Levocetirizine is a second-generation antihistamine that selectively blocks peripheral H1 histamine receptors. This reduces the effects of histamine released during allergy, thereby relieving sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes and itching.

Oral tablet. Take as prescribed; commonly 1 tablet once daily, preferably in the evening. Can be taken with or without food. Swallow with water; do not exceed recommended dose.

Sleepiness/drowsiness, dry mouth, fatigue, headache, dizziness, nausea

May cause drowsiness—avoid driving or operating machinery if affected. Use with caution in kidney disease (dose adjustment may be needed); consult doctor before use. Not for self-use in children unless advised by a doctor. Stop and seek medical help if allergic reaction occurs (rash, swelling, breathing difficulty).

Alcohol (increases drowsiness), CNS depressants/sedatives (additive sedation), theophylline (may reduce clearance slightly), other antihistamines (increased side effects)

Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
