Telekast-L Kid Syrup is a combination of two medicines: levocetirizine and montelukast. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic medicine that blocks a chemical messenger called histamine, which causes symptoms such as a runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Montelukast is a leukotriene antagonist that blocks another chemical messenger called leukotriene. This helps reduce inflammation (swelling) in the airways and nose and improves allergy symptoms.

Telekast-L Kid Syrup does not pose serious side effects and is well-tolerated by children. In case the side effects do occur, they’re likely to subside once the body adapts to the medicine. Consult your child’s doctor if these side effects persist or bother your child. The most common side effects include-
