Before you take it
Ultravex S3 Ointment may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.<br>Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Ultravex S3 Ointment is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Psoriasis Eczema
Ultravex S3 Ointment is a combination of two medicines: Halobetasol and Salicylic Acid which treat eczema and psoriasis. Halobetasol is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic medicine which breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells and softens the skin. It also enhances the absorption of Halobetasol into the skin.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and gently massage the ointment.
