This medicine is used in the treatment of digestive problems, loose motions, restoring gut bacteria and stomach protection.

Venoflav 500 Tablet is a flavonoid. It works by blocking the action of chemical messengers (prostaglandins, thromboxane A2) which cause inflammation (swelling) of the veins. This improves blood flow in the veins and restores normal vein function.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Venoflav 500 Tablet is to be taken with food.

Loose motions with high fever, blood in the stool or severe abdominal pain need a doctor, not a home remedy. Oral rehydration salts and fluids matter more than any medicine when you have loose motions — dehydration is the real danger, especially in children and older people. Do not use an anti-motility medicine such as loperamide if you have a fever or blood in the stool.
