Vogloyd R 0.3/1 Tablet

Vogloyd R 0.3/1 Tablet contains Repaglinide (1mg) + Voglibose (0.3mg) and is used for type 2 diabetes mellitus. Prescription required.

Treatment of Type 2 diabetes mellitus

Repaglinide and voglibose help control blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes. Repaglinide increases the release of insulin after meals, helping the body manage rises in blood sugar. Voglibose slows down the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates from food, which helps prevent sudden spikes in blood sugar after eating. Together, they support better post-meal blood sugar control.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Vogloyd R 1mg/0.3mg Tablet is to be taken on an empty stomach.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

If you feel shaky, sweaty, confused or unusually hungry, take sugar, glucose or a sweet drink at once and tell your doctor — these are signs your blood sugar has fallen too low. If a low-sugar episode happens while on an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor such as voglibose or acarbose, use glucose — ordinary sugar and sweets work more slowly. Tell your doctor about any new swelling of the ankles, breathlessness or sudden weight gain.

Low blood sugar is more likely when combined with insulin or a sulfonylurea.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
