A condom acts as a physical barrier that prevents semen from entering the vagina during intercourse. It also reduces direct skin-to-skin contact, lowering transmission risk of many STIs.

Use a new condom for every act of intercourse. Open pack carefully, place on the tip of an erect penis before any genital contact, pinch the tip to leave space, and roll down fully. After ejaculation, hold the rim and withdraw while still erect; dispose in a bin (do not flush).
