Yathrin Lotion

Yathrin Lotion contains Permethrin (5%w/v) + Cetrimide (1%w/v) and is used for this medicine is used. Prescription required.

This medicine is used in the treatment of skin conditions, skin care, wound cleaning, minor cuts and grazes and skin disinfection.

This medicine combines 2 active ingredients: Permethrin and Cetrimide. Permethrin acts on the skin to treat or soothe the condition it is prescribed for. Cetrimide kills germs on the skin and in a wound, reducing the chance of infection.

Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer and rub it in gently. Wash your hands before and after use, unless your hands are the area being treated. This is for use on the skin only — do not swallow it. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

Local irritation, Redness, Itching, Dryness, Stinging on application, Staining of skin or clothing

For external use only, unless the pack says otherwise. Stop if the skin becomes more irritated, and see a doctor if the condition worsens or spreads. Do a small test patch first if you have sensitive skin. For external use only. Keep away from the eyes and the inside of the mouth and nose unless the product is made for that purpose. Do not use a strong antiseptic repeatedly on an open wound — clean running water and soap around the edges are usually better, and harsh antiseptics slow healing. See a doctor for a deep or dirty wound, an animal bite, a wound that will not stop bleeding, or one that becomes red, swollen, warm or discharges. Check that your tetanus cover is current after any dirty or penetrating wound.

Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Close the cap tightly after each use. Keep out of the reach of children.
