Used for relief of spasmodic pain and inflammation such as abdominal cramps, intestinal spasms, biliary/renal colic, and painful menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhoea).

Drotaverine is an antispasmodic that relaxes smooth muscles by inhibiting phosphodiesterase, thereby reducing muscle spasm and cramp pain. Aceclofenac is an NSAID that reduces pain and inflammation by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis (COX inhibition).

Tablet to be taken by mouth as prescribed by a doctor. Usually taken after food to reduce stomach upset; swallow whole with water. Do not exceed the prescribed dose or duration.

NSAID-related risks: may cause stomach ulcer/bleeding; use with caution in patients with history of peptic ulcer, GI bleeding, or on blood thinners. Use cautiously in kidney disease, liver disease, heart disease, hypertension, asthma/NSAID allergy, and in the elderly. Stop and seek medical help if you develop black stools, vomiting blood, severe abdominal pain, swelling, breathing difficulty, or severe skin rash. Avoid using with other NSAIDs unless advised.

Anticoagulants/antiplatelets (warfarin, aspirin, clopidogrel) – increased bleeding risk; other NSAIDs/corticosteroids – increased GI ulcer risk; antihypertensives/diuretics (ACE inhibitors/ARBs, furosemide) – reduced effect and increased kidney risk; methotrexate – increased toxicity; lithium – increased levels; cyclosporine/tacrolimus – increased nephrotoxicity; alcohol – increased GI bleeding risk

Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
