Uses of Aklief Cream

Treatment of acne vulgaris (comedonal and inflammatory acne) on the face and/or trunk

• •Reduces comedones (blackheads/whiteheads)
• •Decreases inflammatory acne lesions
• •Helps prevent new acne formation
• •Improves overall skin texture with continued use

How it works

Trifarotene is a topical retinoid that selectively activates retinoic acid receptor (RAR)-gamma in the skin. It normalizes abnormal keratinization, helps prevent comedone formation, and reduces inflammation in acne lesions.

Directions for use

For external use only. Apply a thin layer once daily in the evening to clean, dry affected areas (face and/or trunk) as advised by a dermatologist. Use a pea-sized amount for face; avoid eyes, lips, nostrils and mucous membranes. Moisturizer and sunscreen (SPF) are recommended; reduce frequency if irritation occurs.
