How Aloekin Lotion works

Acts primarily as an emollient and skin protectant. It forms a moisturizing layer on the skin to reduce water loss and helps soothe irritated skin; aloe-based lotions may provide cooling and calming effects.

How to take Aloekin Lotion

For external use only. Apply a thin layer on clean, dry skin 2–3 times daily or as needed; gently massage until absorbed. Can be used after bathing and after sun exposure; avoid contact with eyes and broken skin unless advised by a doctor.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Aloekin as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Aloekin than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Side effects of Aloekin Lotion

Most side effects of Aloekin are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

• allergic reaction (rare)

Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Warnings and precautions

For external use only. Stop use and consult a doctor if irritation, swelling, or rash occurs or persists. Avoid use on infected, severely inflamed, or oozing skin unless directed by a clinician. Keep away from eyes, mouth and mucous membranes; rinse with water if accidental contact occurs. Patch test recommended in sensitive skin.

Interactions with other medicines

No known significant drug interactions when used topically as directed; avoid applying with other topical products on the same area if they cause irritation.

How to store Aloekin Lotion

Store at room temperature (below 25–30°C), away from direct sunlight and heat. Keep cap tightly closed; do not freeze.
